Specialized Executive Search Firm Teams With
OSU's
Fisher School Of Business On Education Event
September 19, 2005—(Cleveland, Ohio)—Specialized search
and retention services firms, highbridge associates and paul~lawrence
associates have teamed with The Ohio State University and its Human
Resources Management Department at the Fisher School of Business
to conduct a one-and-a-half day executive education session highlighting
talent acquisition and retention strategies, diversity practices,
talent assessment and related HR issues for private industry. The
event will be held Monday evening, October 31 and Tuesday, November
1, 2005 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Fisher College of Business
on Ohio State’s campus in
Columbus.
Featured as the Monday evening keynote speaker on will be Dr.
Oded Shenkar, Professor, Ford Motor Company Chair in Global Business
Management. Dr. Shenkar will share information and insights from
his recent book, The Chinese Century: The
Rising Chinese Economy and Its Impact on the Global Economy, the
Balance of Power and Your Job.
The session on Tuesday, November 1, will feature a series of industry
experts from Fortune 1000 companies discussing tactical and strategic
information regarding building and growing a world-class talent
acquisition capability; best practices in enhancing diversity policies
within your organization; the benefits and pitfalls of pre-employment
assessment; best practices in on-boarding; and overviewing challenges
associated with college recruiting.
