Specialized Executive Search Firm Opens Sarasota, Florida Office and Appoints New Director

and retention services firm, paul~lawrence associates and highbridge
associates, today announced the appointment of Edward E.
(Ned) Richardson as Director in their new Sarasota, Florida office.
Richardson will be responsible for managing retained searches in
the banking and financial services sector particularly in the areas
of operations, cash management and related IT functions. These
areas of his expertise will complement the firm's existing strengths
in the retail and corporate banking sectors.
An accomplished financial services executive, Richardson has had
extensive experience in both the public and the private sector.
Most recently, Richardson was Group Vice President and Senior Marketing
Officer of The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland with responsibility
for both the Cleveland and St. Louis Reserve Banks. In this role,
he created and directed the banks' market-driven
business strategy, resulting in revenues which grew to more than
$110 million. Through Richardson's leadership spanning more
than 20 years, the banks gained a reputation in the marketplace
as payment system leaders. In addition, Richardson worked with
a wide variety of banking industry executives throughout the country
and represented the Federal Reserve System on numerous policy issues.
Richardson's private sector experience includes 16 years
with the Dun & Bradstreet Companies and several years with Cleveland-area
financial institutions. During his tenure with Dun & Bradstreet,
Richardson worked with diverse business leaders in the areas of market
development, territory deployment, and asset/liability management.
His successively growing responsibilities included roles as National
Account Manager, Division Manager and Regional Sales Manager. Richardson
was later recruited by a Cleveland-area financial institution where
he introduced to the national market the first retail funds and
consolidation system using electronic drafts that formed the basis
for many cash management systems widely used today. Moving to Ohio
Savings Bank, a full-service 40 branch institution, Richardson assumed
responsibility as the Senior Marketing and Sales Officer. There,
he successfully managed mergers, advertising, product development,
public relations, and direct sales for asset, liability and fee products.
Richardson is a native of Kansas City and received his Bachelor
of Arts degree from the University of Missouri. He also did post-graduate
studies at the University of Missouri School of Law and Princeton
University. Richardson has served several non-profit organizations
as chairman, president, and board member.
