Human Capital Services Firm Announces New Knowledge
Management Practice
April 24, 2007Cleveland, OhioTalent acquisition and
human capital consulting firm, highbridge
associates, recently
enhanced its client services offering with the formation of its
new Knowledge Management Practice. As part of this new program,
the company today announced that Suzanne Conroy, currently leading
the firm's outsourcing business and former consultant at
Deloitte and talent acquisition specialist at Eaton Corporation,
will lead the program.
Ms. Conroy will assist highbridge associates' clients with
comprehensive Knowledge Management (KM) Audits, which determine
how information enters and circulates in the functional and/or
departmental areas important to any organization. This would include
as an example, a data gap analysis. In addition, the consulting
support consists of a Knowledge Management Mapping Program that
traces how information is currently gathered, in what form, and
how it is stored, lost or retrieved. The process conversion map
intends to provide some approaches and/or formats that could involve
minor changes in a reasonable timeframe that could move organizations
toward a more fully evolved KM entity
This practice was designed by highbridge
associates to deliver
a Knowledge Management Legacy Program that will suggest methods,
training and support of a KM program that can be developed externally
but supported internally, through a designated internal KM specialist
that will enhance the organization's culture to be more diligent
and planful in its information gathering, utilization and retrieval
process. This will assist the organization to ultimately win on
a more consistent basis, in the marketplace, whether competing
in services and products or competing for human capital. Any organization
that competes in the marketplace with a service or product, understands
the importance of human capital to their entity, and deems that
there is an advantage to gaining and utilizing business and/or
competitive intelligence (BI/CI) as relative and imperative to
the growth and survivability of their business, likely needs KM
support.
Ms. Conroy's background and experience brings valuable and
pragmatic expertise to resolve highbridge
associates' client's
Knowledge Management issues. Prior to leading highbridge associates' Outsourced
Recruiting program, Ms. Conroy served at Eaton Corporate headquarters
responsible for recruiting business leaders into both divisional
and corporate offices. Before Eaton, she ran and managed her own
human capital consulting and executive search firm.
Prior to her own entity, Ms. Conroy was a Human Capital Consultant
and Experienced Hire Recruiting Leader for Deloitte Consulting.
In addition to leading the human capital support activity for seven
(7) offices, she also consulted to Deloitte clients such as Caterpillar,
Inc., often serving the client's needs by operating on-site.
Ms. Conroy started her career in talent acquisition at the well-known
technology-based executive search firm Christian & Timbers,
which ranks among the nation's ten largest.
"Our clients will receive extraordinary value through the
leadership of Suzanne Conroy, who has operated on the partner/vendor
side, the consulting side and as an internal support consultant
to a leading Fortune 500 firm. Ms. Conroy will be further aided
in her effort to support clients by partnering arrangements with
the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Michigan's
Schools of Information Science, among the top three in the nation
and other leading KM specialists who have formed joint ventures
with us," noted Larry Imely, CEO of highbridge
associates.
Ms. Conroy graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor
of Science degree in Communications from the College of Arts and
Sciences. She is an active member of the Society of Competitive
Intelligence Professionals (SCIP).
